Minimal?! a new exhibition of works by a Spanish photo duo Anna & Daniel

The exhibition offers images from two of their most popular series What the Hat?! and Happytecture as part of a presentation that will be accessible online as a 3D virtual presentation alongside a view room on Artsy. Minimal?! exhibition is a proof that minimal is by no means boring. Quite the opposite! It is a lot of fun. Though their artwork look simple but there is a lot work behind the final image.

This creative duo puts to use their architectural backgrounds to tell stories through fun and surprising images that are far from conventional architecture photography. Their particular style is characterized by their visual sense of humor, creativity, precision, and a delicate aesthetic inspired by the city, geometry, and minimalism. Their art is informed and inspired by their photo idols Chema Madoz and Rodney Smith.

By combining their spatial awareness and their artistic vision, primarily based on simple shapes and bold patterns, they have succeeded in establishing magnetic and joyful narratives that smartly suggest both the nature of human relations and the fascination with the urban environment.
